1 Arrive Delhi

After arriving in Delhi, our representative will welcome you and guide you to your hotel.

2 Delhi – Varanasi

Relish yourself completely in the rich and tasty breakfast and go for sight seeing where you visit Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Himayun Tomb, Lotus Temple and drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and many other terrific places.

Reach New Delhi Railway Station in the evening to board the train to Varanasi. Travel overnight in the Train.

3 Arrive Varanasi

On arrival at Varanasi in the morning, you’d be transferred to your hotel, and relaxing for a while and enjoying light refreshment, plan out a half day-guided tour to the places in Varanasi, which will include Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Benaras Hindu University and other important monuments. In the evening participate in the aarti performed in Vedic mantras on the Ghat alongside Ganges.

Varanasi, aka Kashi, is a living ancient Hindu city. You’d be mesmerized to see early morning sunrise on the banks of Ganges while cruising the waters on boat. The holy city is crowded with temples and there’s huge meandering network of streets. The city is also known for its home based Banarsi Saree and carpet manufacturing. The present name Varanasi descends from two separate names of rivers Varuna and Asi.

4 Varanasi

In the wee hours (around 5:00 AM) plan the drive to Daswamedh Ghat and go for boat cruise on sacred Hindu river Ganges to view cremation Ghats, and discover the oldest and rich Hindu rituals and traditions. It is a good and creative idea to board the boat along with your city guide to go to middle of Ganges in order to see Benaras unfolding before you, gradually as the sun rises.

Thousands of devotees and tourists come on the banks of Ganges to take holy dip, whereas in the background Aarti enchantments can be loudly heard to mesmerize whole of the environment. Next, take a walk in the meandering cobblestone streets. As the morning advances, shops open and the city turns into complete hustle and bustle activity.

Get back to hotel room and order the breakfast. Relax for some time and then plan an excursion to Sarnath, which is located 5 miles from Varanasi. Sarnath is the place where in 590 BC Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Nearby, you will witness the ruins of once flourishing Buddhist monastery. 5 Varanasi – Khajuraho

6 Khajuraho

7 Khajuraho – Orchha – Agra

After having the breakfast in hotel, check out, and take road journey to Orchha, which is yet another amazing historical place known for monuments, temples and palaces. You’d also find palaces embellished exclusively painted with artistic murals and flowering paintings by Bundela School of Painting. Later in the afternoon board a train to Agra. At Agra you will be received and transferred to your pre-booked hotel to make your overnight stay comfortable.

The city of Agra is famous for Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You can also easily catch the sight of marvelous Mughal architecture as evidently seen in the palaces and mausoleums, exemplifies rich 16th and early 17th century architecture.

8 Agra – Jaipur: 249 kms/150 miles – 5 hours by car

Leave for the fantastic Taj Mahal tour after having early morning breakfast. Taj Mahal looks terrific in the early morning view. It is a token of love and amongst the Seven Wonders of the World. The impressive mausoleum was built by Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

Make a visit to Agra Fort, which houses Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Further visit Itmad – ul – daulah’s tomb. The tomb belongs to an era earlier to Taj Mahal, and is often compared with the latter.

Later in the day take road journey to Jaipur and en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful Jama Masjid / The Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai and Birbal's (a Minister) Palace. As you reach Jaipur in the evening, accommodate yourself in the hotel and stay overnight in the hotel room and unwind.

Jaipur, pink city and capital of Rajasthan, was established by Sawai Jaisingh in AD 1727. The city is rich in its culture and traditions, besides, wonderful forts and palaces in bluish pink. 9 Jaipur

While in Jaipur, first enjoy your breakfast; and then leave for half-day sightseeing tour to Amer fort, located on the top of the hill, built by Maharaja Man Singh in 16th century, which also houses marble temple of goddess Kali. Sheesh Mahal is one of the attractions at the Amer Fort.

Take an afternoon tour of old walled city of Jaipur, which is otherwise known as pink city for its pink color walls and interiors. The old walled city was made by Maharaja Jai Singh II, magnificently constructed according to Shilpa-Shastra, the ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.

Visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, built in 1700's (A.D), which is modern in technology, and later visit palace of winds or Hawa Mahal, lying adjacent to observatory. The palace standing erect in the old city puts the classic semblance of Mughal and Hindu architecture, besides, putting forth amazing collection of Rajasthani armory and costumes, and also colorful paintings. If you want to take an evening tour to Chokhi Dhani- ethnic village resort, you can enjoy the traditional Rajasthani folk songs recited by men and women adorned in traditional Rajasthani costumes. 10 Jaipur – Delhi
